Happy New Year to all the cadets and their parents! This 2016 year will be the best year JROTC at Mount Miguel will ever have. There is a lot in store for the cadets this year, so be ready to be challenged both mentally and physically. Here are so of the highlights so far this year......
Mount Miguel's Drill Teams had a surprise visit from General Jeffrey Smith. It was an honor to have him here to watch our award winning drill teams. He gave the students knowledge of life in the military and careers related to the military. He announced scholarship opportunities that each student had a chance to apply. He encouraged our program and motivated us to strive for success. Congratulations to Mount Miguel's Drill Teams at the Orange Glenn Competition. It was a great and intense performance. The unarmed drill team received 4th overall, 3rd place exhibition, and 5th place for foreman. Also congratulations to the Armed drill team for receiving 5th place for foreman,
