CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MATADOR BATTALION ON SLAYING ORANGE GLEN! 2nd place Unarmed Fourman, 2nd place Unarmed Regulation, 2nd Place Unarmed Overall, 3rd place Unarmed Exhibition, 3rd place Color Guard Combined, 5th place Armed Regulation, and 4th place Armed Overall!!! Way to REPRESENT!!! Photos & Videos from the drill meet are available under the "Events" section of the Mount Miguel JROTC Website.
Prospective incoming Freshmen visited the Mount today for the Best of the Matadors Assembly, where JROTC presented the Colors and performances from the Armed and Unarmed Drill Teams. The teams were introduced by C/ 1LT Nia Caluya, who encouraged the visiting eighth graders to consider becoming Matador Battalion cadets this fall. We'll see you again soon, future cadets!
Despite the rain, the JROTC Battalion represented well for our JPA In-Ranks Inspection! The in-ranks inspection is part of a process to determine whether the battalion keeps its status as an Honor Unit With Distinction, and was also accompanied today by evaluations of a Color Guard and a Platoon Drill sequence in Echo Company.
