Thank you to everyone in the battalion who has contributed to the group effort in order to retain the Honor Unit with Distinction 🌟. The cadets scored 96% on their portion of the JPA while the instructors scored 100% on their portion of the JPA. This averaged out to 97.5% (2.5% above the requirement for HUD). You are all such amazing cadets, and you have shown me, the instructors, and Mark Pratt just how deserving the battalion is to be an HUD. Mark Pratt, our evaluator, gave positive remarks for both the cadets and the instructors. Because of our outstanding performance, we also will not be inspected for another 3 years!

The in-ranks inspection is part of a process to determine whether the battalion keeps its status as an Honor Unit With Distinction, and was also accompanied today by evaluations of a Color Guard and a Platoon Drill sequence in Echo Company.
